OTHER ACTIVITIES PLANNED FOR AHEAD:
In
addition to the above activities we intend
to do joint activities with the other 2 units.
Some of which will be in the new term will
include: Kayaking/canoeing expedition, mountaineering
weekend in Wales, Alton Towers, Survival Weekend,
archery/rifles/climbing @ 9th Worcs HQ (Hallow).
Other activities planned to do as our own
thing will include kayaking @ Aztec West,
Narrowboating, films/games evening, archery
and a practice hike before we do the Cotswold
Marathon in February 2009.
PLEASE
NOTE: The above programme may be subject to
alteration/addition and not all activities
will be held at our meeting place, so please
confirm details with a section leader beforehand
by a preferred method of communication.
Some
extra preparation sessions will take place
for D of E practice expeditions. Fund raising
will also be arranged. Please see a leader
for further information on this or visit the
website regularly.
Certain
activities will require transportation which
is to be arranged between groups of explorers
and your parents. Please help us by car sharing.
We will let you know in advance of any activity
should transportation be required.
